Exploring the 1850's

Yesterday we went to Howick Historical Village with room 25 and 23. We went into the past and explored what it was like to be in the 1850's. One thing i liked was that the girls always had to go first because the boys usually push in front of the girls. There was a lot of houses some made out of straw and sticks and some made out of wood. There was a Homestead Mansion and upstairs was a pitch black dark room and it was creepy. My favourite house was one of the ones made out of straw because there small and cosy. We had a lesson in the school it is really small. We also had a lesson about the different types of ways to communicate.
