Calendar Art

KIA ORANA!

 Over the past couple weeks my class has been making some Calendar art. Our focus was one point perspective. The one point perspective on my art goes to the middle. One point perspective is something that goes to one point on a piece of paper. My art says love and it is 3-D. My backdrop is the sky with clouds and a nice sun. This took 3 weeks for me to make, the blue sky took the longest to colour. It wasn't that hard to draw the 3-D shapes poking out of the sky. After you have coloured it in and it is 3-D use vivid to make it pop out.

Water slide

 The last 2 weeks we have been working on a slide. The slide was about stories that we had to read. We had to write down the problem the actions taken and the effect on the water. This is my slide:

First week back

 KIA ORA!

This week is the first week back at school. My class have been doing something called picture dictation. We have done one every day. Picture dictation is something where the teacher gives you ten instructions but one at a time you get about 1 minute for each instruction. At the end he shows you a photo and your picture might look like it it might not. Here is mine:
