Science using instruments

Today we investigated volume of pitch of sounds. We used musical instruments to show the difference between high pitch and low pitch. High pitch is when it is a shorter instrument and low pitch is when its is a long instrument. Today I am using the triangles for my instrument. 
Triangles:
The bigger triangles are the lower pitch.
And the smaller triangles have the higher pitch.
Longer the vibration=lower the pitch
Shorter the vibration= higher the pitch

Writing Genre

This week we have been focusing on writing using different types of genre. But my favourite genre that I did and most proud of is Adventure. The words that are highlighted in yellow are simile and the words that are highlighted in green are dialogue. 

Adventure

Bravely, the man cuts through the house, leaves crawling up the walls branches everywhere this house is definitely abandoned. He came to what he thought was the back door. He threw it open and there were dark green logs floating down down a river. He jumped on one and got 1 meter down the lake and realised they weren’t logs, they were alligators. “AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” He screamed Panicking as he dived into the water which is as cold as a freezer. Swimming to the other side of the lake. He climbed onto the land and lay still for a couple of seconds. He stood up and looked at the amazing view in front of him. He decided he was going to climb the immense vibrant mountains like a warrior. This was going to be a long adventure “sigh”...

Science!

Yesterday my class did science. We made cup phones. We had a question: What is sound? We made the cups and tested round corners and other places. They only work if the string it straight and tight. I learnt that for it to work you need to have the string straight and when you talk you need to have your mouth right against the cup rim and the other person has to have the cup rim right up against there ear.

Toolkit challenge

Yesterday we did this thing called toolkit. We go on google hangouts and people from other schools teach us how to use some cool websites. I did Food truck budget, Incredibox and Canva. Theses are all awesome websites but my favourite was Canva you can create posters business cards flyers presentations and other stuff.

Letter to Carla

This is another one of There's a boy in the girls' bathroom tasks. I have created a letter to Carla pretending I am Bradley the reason I have created this letter is because Carla wrote a letter to him and he is replying.

Science experiment

Today my class have done an science experiment. It has milk and food colouring in it. It is an awesome experiment but you will need milk with the most fat otherwise it won't work. You will also need liquid soap. You won't be able to see the fat in the milk if it doesn't have much fat in the type of milk. You will love the colours if you try it. The colours will start dancing and it will look really nice. First you have to pour the milk in a bowl and than add colours and use a cotton bud with some soap on the end and dip it in the bowl. Science time Non-Newtonian fluid

Yesterday my class did some science. We made some oobleck. It was very gooey and when you screwed up some of the solid bit and then left it in your hand and it would melt from a solid to a liquid. When you moved the Non-Newtonian fluid would go solid but if you didn't than it would become liquid. The stuff that we made is called Non-Newtonian fluid. You use cornstarch and water and just play with it. We came up with a question to answer and it is: Is it a solid or a liquid? It was very messy. Here are videos and photos.

Bradley,  he has changed from a lonely naughty boy to a
polite curious gentleman. I am having no trouble paying for
fees because I know that it is worth it.
I have no complaints about Carla, she is a wonderful
teacher and I am happy that Bradley has made a new friend
and has even been invited to a birthday party, thanks for
