This week we have been writing genres I have choose one of my genres to put on my blog. I am posting my fantasy writing. I hope you enjoy it.

The Escalator

Fantasy

Exhausted after a late night stepping of the bright escalator returning to her home. But as soon as she stepped off the escalator she was baffled by the delicious sight. Her favourite food was hovering in the pink icing sky. There was her apartment block carved from delicious shining donuts. Delighted, to be in this wonderful fairyland. After a long time being in heaven she has to go back to reality. She stops daydreaming and walks back down the elevator not knowing her bags were full of donuts.

Genre writing

Here is some more of my genre writing. It is about this girl that is standing on a bridge that is an eye. The genre that I picked to post is thriller. Thriller is like horror but less scary. This is my genre writing:

Sir Edmund Hillary

This week we have been learning about Sir Edmund Hillary. He was the first to build a school for the kids in Nepal. He also was the first to climb to the top of Mount Everest. I think Sir Edmund Hillary doesn't deserves this level of fame because he wasn't alone he had other people to climb the mountain with. 


Do you think Sir Edmund Hillary deserves this level of fame?

End of term reflection

Today is the last day of school for the term. This is the end of term reflection. This term I enjoyed:
Art
Maths
Writing
Reading



This term I enjoyed art because it was fun doing abstract art it was really colourful and different. I enjoyed maths because I could understand it better and it was fun. I enjoyed writing because doing genres and using similes and metaphors make my writing better. Reading was great because it was nice to compare myself and the characters in the book about what we have in common and what we don't. But I liked art the most.
