Film Festival

Today we went to the film festival in town. We went to the  Auckland Civic Theatre its a massive building and it has a night sky roof in the theatre and it looked like a castle it was amazing. We watched 14 short films i have some favourites here they are:

This one is a gym one. I like this one because it is very funny.

This one is a sloth eating ice cream. I like this one because its funny the ice cream keeps melting before it gets to his mouth.

Sick sentences

This is my sick sentences sick sentences is when you get some sentences they are really bad and you fix them up here they are:

The man walked up the slope. He used poles. The sun was bright. The sky was blue. He looked forward to the view from the top.

Now I'm going to fix them up:

A man walked up a slippery slope covered in frosty ice. I used metal sticks to climb up the mountain. The sun was shining bright in the snowy sky. The sky was blue with snow drops falling from the air. She looked forward to the amazing view at the top.

Bird talk

This week is green week we are learning about native birds. This morning we had a bird talk with miss best our old garden to table teacher. She taught us about birds and predators i know three predator birds Eagle Owl and i forgot the last one. I also know 1 other predators but its not a bird it is a possum.

1. A person who is my hero is my mum.
2. This person is my hero because shes kind caring does work to get money and buy me stuff with that money.

HEROES

This term our focus is on heroes. Here are some questions i am going to answer:

1. What is a hero? I think a hero is someone who is kind caring and does things for you. A hero is not a person that saves the world. My hero is my mum.

2. What is the difference between being a hero and a idol? The difference of being a hero then an idol is that an idol is someone that famous like a TV star and a hero is someone that is kind and caring.

3. What makes a person a hero? What makes a hero a hero is a kind and caring person and that person is grateful and.
