The arctic journey

This is my writing.

 Cautiously, the husky's pulled the sleigh onto the ice. They were about halfway across the ice suddenly the ground beneath him started to shatter. The husky's had noticed it and were running faster they had a quarter of the way left to go! They had just made it. The man was relived.
